🍾🇷🇴 Cotnari Grasa de Cotnari Millesime 2017🥂 Preps for the Romanian Sparkling Wine Competition on Monday December 4th.🤩 Wow! Hope we are going to taste a lot of wines like this!🍈 It’s made from the Grasa de Cotnari grape variety, traditional method, 49 months on the lees. Only 4.948 bottles were produced of this vintage. 🤔 A lot of sweet wines are produced of this variety, this sparkling wine though is a delicious brut😇.😋 On the nose the wine is very fresh, with white fruits, lemon, hint of walnut. On the palate a light, elegant and refreshing mousse. The palate is a pleasant rehearsal of the nose, very fresh and vivid. Here with a pretty, slightly yeasty note due to the long maturation on the lees. In the fresh finish some hazelnuts come along. 👉By the way: the label reproduces a work by the Romanian artist/sculptor Mircea Roman. 🤩 Happy ad proud to be highlighted by @circleofwine together with fellow member @elizabeth.gabaymw 🇷🇴 We were in Timisoara, Romania, where the yearly wine event @rovinhud took place. 🥂 @elizabeth.gabaymw ran an very interesting masterclass on sparkling rosé wines.🙋‍♀️ Do you know @rovinhud? It's all about raising money to support people with disabilities to make our society more accessible, open and empathetic, the time has come to think about the next generations.👉 This year, every ticket purchased meant a therapy session for a disabled child.🤔 Unfortunately, the state does not support the therapies of children with disabilities. It's all about raising money to support people with disabilities to make our society more accessible, open and empathetic, the time has come to think about the next generations.👉 This year, every ticket purchased meant a therapy session for a disabled child.🤔 Unfortunately, the state does not support the therapies of children with disabilities.
