🍇Prokupac is a red wine grape variety indigenou 🍇Prokupac is a red wine grape variety indigenous to the former Yugoslavia. Now it is mainly found in the south of Serbia.🇷🇸💨The variety is vigorous and well-suited to the cool climate but loves some sunshine. With its thick skin it offers resistance to botrytis bunch rot and other fungal diseases.🍷The grape is noted for the high sugar levels it can achieve and therefore the high levels of alcohol it can produce in the final wine.⏳Prokupac is often used to produce a darkly colored rosé. Most red ones are made to enjoy young, but, as I experienced in Serbia, some wines can mature very well.🤝It is also a perfect blending partner for more international grape varieties like syrah and cabernet sauvignon.🍷🍒🌶Prokupac wines are ruby red, with a lot of red cherry fruit on the nose and the palate. The ones I tasted were full of fruit: cherry, blueberries, plum. 🥇The International Rosé Competition is an annu 🥇The International Rosé Competition is an annual competition that takes place in Poland, in the beautiful Dwor Sierakow💚👩‍💻The contest is aimed specifically at producers of rosé wines. 🍇Prokupac is a red wine grape variety indigenou 🍇Prokupac is a red wine grape variety indigenous to the former Yugoslavia. Now it is mainly found in the south of Serbia.🇷🇸💨The variety is vigorous and well-suited to the cool climate but loves some sunshine. With its thick skin it offers resistance to botrytis bunch rot and other fungal diseases.🍷The grape is noted for the high sugar levels it can achieve and therefore the high levels of alcohol it can produce in the final wine.⏳Prokupac is often used to produce a darkly colored rosé. Most red ones are made to enjoy young, but, as I experienced in Serbia, some wines can mature very well.🤝It is also a perfect blending partner for more international grape varieties like syrah and cabernet sauvignon.🍷🍒🌶Prokupac wines are ruby red, with a lot of red cherry fruit on the nose and the palate. The ones I tasted were full of fruit: cherry, blueberries, plum. 🥇The International Rosé Competition is an annu 🥇The International Rosé Competition is an annual competition that takes place in Poland, in the beautiful Dwor Sierakow💚👩‍💻The contest is aimed specifically at producers of rosé wines.
