The results of The World’s Finest Glass of Bubbly Awards 2023 are announced. 18 Trophies were given to sparkling wines from 11 countries in 4 continents. This year the World’s Finest Glass of Bubbly 2023 and the Sustainable Trophy both went to Italy.
The wines were judged over two days at the Champagne Route Bar in London. All the wines were judged blind by a host of international Champagne and sparkling wine professionals. Master of Wines to Sommeliers flew in from around the world to judge at the Glass of Bubbly Awards. Present were jurors from countries such as USA, Slovenia, Finland, Netherlands, France and, of course, many recognisable and loved faces from the UK. Each wine went through a detailed blind tasting to not only score it points for a medal, but also place it in a relevant category for the chance to win a trophy.

An incredible sparkling wine which was described by the judges as having:
“Intense toasty aromas with pineapple, mango, yellow peach, passion fruit and cream. Complex flavours of toast, honey, nuts, vanilla with layers of marzipan. Absolutely delicious with honey layers which lasts forever along with vibrant apricot fruit, rich peach melba, apple tart and dried pineapple.
