The Argilla wine is one of the Prestige Wines of @villavinearomania 👌. --The wine is a blend of 50% Sauvignon Blanc and both 25% of Feteasca Regala and Feteasca Alba, matured on oak. The first vintage was 2016, with about 280 bottles. The 2017 about 400. We could not taste it but could buy a few bottles of this collectors item. Will share my tasing notes with you when I opened a bottle.--The label is cut into the glass. A process done by... the cheesemaker @manufacturadebranza . So of course we had to pay him a visit🙌 and buy some of his lovely cheeses!--And he told us the @valeaverde is just at the end of his street! We enjoyed a very nice goulash with fresh baked bread. 🇫🇷Rosé La Bargemone 2020, Coteaux d’Aix en Provence AOP, Vin Biologique🇫🇷--Commanderie de la Bargemone was founded by the Templars in the 13th century. Before it was bought in September 2019 by André Einaudi, a French industrialist, it was owned by several families, amongst them was Thomassin Bargemon, the namesake of the winery. As a (grand)son of winegrowers André Einaudi desired to continue the work of generations of winegrowers.--He breathes new life into the domain. A major project to build new vats, scheduled for this year, 2021, will allow the wines to be vinified and aged with greater standards, while revealing the quality of the terroir. --The estate covers 150 hectares, 66 of which are vines, comprising 56 hectares of red grape varieties and 10 of white. The careful choice of different grape varieties, Cinsault, Syrah, Grenache and Cabernet Sauvignon, gives these wines specific qualities and remarkable consistency.--😋Wel… let’s taste! The rosé is a blend of 48% grenache, 35% syrah and 17% cinsault. The colour is pale salmon. On the nose fresh peach, clean, some tropical fruit, mango, spring flowers and some citrus too. On the palate the rosé is dry, has a medium- body and alcohol (12%) and a refreshing acidity. Peach, pear, pink grapefruit. The medium finish is fresh, fruity with a touch of minerality (saltiness). Elegant. --🍴Nice rosé to enjoy as an aperitif, together with some cold cuts or young goat’s cheeses. 🇫🇷A wine from France today: Dame de Clochevigne Vacqueras 2019🇫🇷--🇷🇴This wine I bought @lidlromania round Christmas times. And I must say: it did not disappoint me😎--😋The colour is dark purple. On the nose dark cherries, plum some sweet spices and black pepper. On the palate the wine has a medium+ body and vivit acidity. Tannins are round and ripe. Here also the black fruit, plum and sweet spices. Medium finish. --🍴Nice wine to pair with red (grilled) meat🥩, lambchops, aubergine🍆, or... as we did... with boiled beets and a hamburger🍔(without the bread though😇)--🛒Do you buy wines at low priced supermarkets sometimes?
