De opdracht was: “My most exciting encounter with a Hungarian wine”. Ik schreef een artikel over de mousserende wijnen van de Hongaarse Etyek wijnregio, waarover ik zeer verrast was: Etyek wijnregio in Hongarije: verfrissend mousserend!

Stemmen kan tot 5 augustus middernacht, maar doe het nu, dan hoef je er niet meer aan te denken🥰

De winnaar wordt uitgenodigd voor een drie-daagse trip waarbij de Hungarian Gettogether op 15 augustus  wordt bezocht. Dit jaarlijks in Hongarije terugkerende event vindt dit jaar plaats bij de nieuwe, ultramoderne winery van Sauska in Tokaj. Naast rondleidingen door de Sauska winery geven talloze Hongaarse wineries acte de présence met hun wijnen, worden er cocktail-demonstraties gegeven en is het Concours Mondial de Bruxelles als gast aanwezig met ‘gold medal winning wines’, waaronder natuurlijk veel Hongaarse. 🇬🇧 This year the Web Wine Writing Contest organized by the Hungarianwines.eu team will take place for the 7th time,  23 articles were submitted, 6 of which made it to the final. And you know what… my article is one of them! 

The assignment: “My most exciting encounter with a Hungarian wine”. I wrote an article about the sparkling wines of the Hungarian Etyek wine region, about which I was very surprised: Etyek wijnregio in Hongarije: verfrissend mousserend!

All articles are fascinating and different.

Hungarian Gettogether

The winner will be invited to a three-day trip to visit the Hungarian Gettogether on August 15. This annual event in Hungary will take place at the new, ultra-modern winery of Sauska in Tokaj. (I was there in the spring, an article about that visit will follow).  In addition to guided tours of the Sauska winery, numerous Hungarian wineries will be present with their wines, cocktail demonstrations are given and the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles is present as a guest with ‘gold medal winning wines’, including of course many Hungarian ones.
